Betty Alice (Buck) Crews, 61, Fruitdale, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1951, in Waverly, Tenn., the daughter of Helen Buck and John Thomas Buck Jr. Her father preceded her in death.
Betty volunteered for Brown County Habitat for Humanity. She was a member of the Brown County Community Band. She enjoyed antiquing, sewing, reading, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Betty is survived by her mother, Helen Buck; her three sisters, Martha (Jim) Kubajak, Judy Degenhardt and Susan (Hal) Jackson; her brother, Tom (Gina) Buck; two stepsons, Michael (Jenny) Crews and Keith Crews; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Andrew, April, Kaycie, Alissa and Justin; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Crews.

A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
