Nashville Police moving into new station today
Updated on: 10.05.12

The Nashville Police are moving across town today into their new station on Hawthorne Drive.

The Town of Nashville bought the building formerly occupied by Christole Inc. in September. The former police "station," in the back of Town Hall, could fit into a corner of the new, 4,000-plus-square-foot space.

Each of the town's six full-time officers will have his or her own office, with room to spare.

Town Marshal Stephanie Hess said the phones were getting switched over today to the new building. The phone number is staying the same: 988-0341. Anyone who needs to reach an officer next week can find one at the new building, she said.

The new station is across the street from Willow Manor Senior Apartments and between the YMCA and Brown County Health & Living.

Read more about the move in the Oct. 17 paper.
