Danny Sciscoe, 47, Martinsville, died Thursday Sept. 27, 2012. Mr. Sciscoe was born Dec. 3, 1964, in Indianapolis, to David and Betty J. (Jones) Sciscoe.

Danny graduated from Martinsville High School in 1985. He worked for Kopetsky Trucking for a number of years and previously for Hebrew National. Danny was a loving and giving man, who always put family first. He will be sorely missed by his devoted family and many friends. Danny was a strong father-figure for his nieces and nephew, Kirsten, Natalie and Stephan. He loved to visit Kings Island and often took his nieces and nephews on weekend trips there.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his siblings, Donna Sciscoe Wright of Martinsville, Tony Sciscoe of Brown County, Stephen and Angel Sciscoe, both of Martinsville; companion, Katie Sobecki; nine nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 2, in Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4-8 p.m. Monday Oct. 1. Burial will be in Centerton Cemetery. Visit www.carlislebranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
