The Brown County League of Women Voters and Farm Bureau will host two forums next week to give voters a chance to question and learn more about the candidates seeking election in November.
The first will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, and include candidates for state offices and school board.
The second will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 and include candidates for county council and county commissioner.
Both will be in the Salmon Room (upstairs meeting room) of the County Office Building on Gould Street.
The Brown County Democrat will webcast the forums live through www.bcdemocrat.com. Viewers also can type questions as they're watching, to be handed to the moderator of the forum for consideration. The web link will be posted on this website the day of the forums.
In-person attendees at the forum also will have a chance to ask questions of the candidates.
The pre-election guide, which includes candidates' qualifications and responses to some questions given to them in advance, will be published with the Oct. 3 Brown County Democrat, and extra copies will be distributed at the forums.
