Gene Fox, 75, Nashville, died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 7 a.m. at his home.
Gene was owner-operator of ABF Business Forms. He was a member of the Brown County Lions Club and a member and former master Mason at Ovid Masonic Lodge. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed NASCAR, IU basketball and cutting firewood.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus, with Dr. Richard Halladay officiating. Family and friends can call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home. The Brown County Lions Club will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson.

Gene was born in Anderson May 3, 1937, the son of Robert and Beatrice Funk Fox. He married Jeanne Fisher Nov. 29, 1996.
Survivors include his wife; children, Cheryl Larson of Wyoming, Cindy (Keith) Richardson of Indianapolis and Connie (Tom) Zornes of McCordsville; stepson, Brett (Jami) DeBord of Anderson; brother, Carl Fox of Prairie Hill, Md.; sister, Diane Fox of New Orleans, La.; grandchildren, Ashley Forman, Brandon Larson, Amanda and Amber Richardson, Sarah, Krista and Faith Zornes; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
