Dale George Burrier, 67, Morgantown

Dale George Burrier, 67, Morgantown, passed away Sept. 2 in Indianapolis. He was born Dec. 21, 1944 in Michigan City, the son of George & Bernice M. (Kniola) Burrier Klosinski.

Dale was a retired systems manager for the American Bar Association Journal. He served as past president of Valpo Tech Alumni. Dale enjoyed remodeling his and friends' homes, he served as Eucharist Minister at St. Agnes, and was a member of their building and finance committees. Dale enjoyed volunteering with Habitat For Humanity, St. Vincent de Paul, as well as various projects at St. Agnes, the priest house and their pews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Weeping Willow Cemetery, Bean Blossom. A wake will be conducted at the church Tuesday, 9-11 a.m.

Family and friends of Dale will also gather in Michigan City on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 2-4 p.m. to remember good times.

Survivors include his wife, Janice M. (Rockwood) Burrier of Morgantown; daughters, Elizabeth (Bobby) Meek of Cataract, and Rebecca Wehrle (fiancé David Hutchins) of Burns Harbor; grandchildren, Amanda Wehrle of Chesterton, and Austin and Dylan Hertzberg, both of LaPorte.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Bridget Hertzberg.
