Randall Wagner, 59, Brown County

Randall Clark Wagner, 59, Brown County, went to his heavenly reward Wednesday, May 30, 2012, of natural causes. A lifelong resident of Columbus, he was member of East Columbus United Methodist Church and a graduate of Columbus High School, class of 1970.

Randy was a former Columbus Bulldog basketball and baseball player, with a love of music, and was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.

Randy was born in Columbus Aug. 22, 1952, the son of Earl and Jean Clark Wagner

Survivors include his sister, Deanna Wagner Gerbig of Dayton, Ohio; a nephew, Brent Gerbig of Enon, Ohio; and aunt, Betty Clark Imel of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Jean Wagner; and grandparents, Clarence and Lela Mae Scofield Clark and Landy and Marshie Smith Wagner.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 in the Garden of Gethsemane Section of Garland Brook Cemetery with the Revs. Charles Aigner and James Stanfield officiating.

Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society or to the donor's favorite charity.
