Receiving Bids for CSCD water tank work

CORDRY-SWEETWATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the CORDRY-SWEETWATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as the TANK OWNER or OWNER, will on August 14, 2012, at 4:00 PM (local time) at the CONSERVANCY office located at 8377 Cordry Dr, Nineveh, IN 46164 will open sealed bids for the cleaning, recoating, and miscellaneous repairs to the INTERIOR and EXTERIOR of an approximately 100,000 gallon elevated water tank.

All bids must be properly executed and must be submitted in envelopes marked "Water Tank Repainting Bid", and must be submitted with a bid bond, money order, certified check or cash in the amount of Ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to the CORDRY-SWEETWATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT. Specifications and bid forms are available for review only, at the CONSERVANCY office. The Owner desires that all questions concerning this project be directed to NORMAN NOE CO., INC.

Bidders may obtain specifications, bid forms and a CD of approximately 275 photos the tank and tank site, from the office of the NORMAN NOE CO., INC. 6671 Grizzly Ct., Nineveh, IN 46164, telephone (317) 933-2274, for a prepaid, non-refundable consulting service/ handling fee of ninety five dollars ($95.00) each. Overnight mailing of the specifications will not be provided. Checks shall be mailed and made out to NORMAN NOE CO., INC. at the time of the order placement.

All information concerning, or contained in the above mentioned photographs or the Tank Description are approximate estimates only and are furnished only as a courtesy to the BIDDER. The photographs and tank description information is not intended, and may not be used, by others for any purpose whatsoever.

The prospective BIDDERS attention is directed to the specification documents in their entirety. Prospective BIDDERS should not bid this project if they have not read, do not understand, or can not comply with all aspects of the specifications.

Bid securities will be returned following contract award and posting of the performance bond by the successful bidder.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities and to accept any parts of the bids as deemed by the OWNER to be the most favorable to the interest of the OWNER.
