PUBLIC NOTICE

The Commissioners of Brown County (201 Locust Lane, Nashville) are submitting a Notice of Intent to inform the Indiana Department of Environmental Management of their intent to comply with the requirements of 327 IAC 15-5 (Rule 5) for the discharge of storm water from construction activities for an upcoming demolition project. The project includes demolition, disposal and land reclamation of fourteen residential properties containing approximately eighteen structures on Melvin Road, Canal Loop and Bayou Drive. The demolition activities are located in Sections 31 and 32, Township 10 North, Range 2 East, in Jackson Township, Brown County, Indiana. Construction is scheduled to commence in April 2012 and should be completed in September 2012.  Runoff from the project site will discharge to Bean Blossom Creek and Plum Creek.
