Notice to Contractors:   Cordry-Sweetwater Conservancy District, Brown County Indiana (“CSCD”) will be accepting bids for dredging of the north end of Sweetwater Lake.    Interested contractors are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting 1:00 PM on March 15, 2012 at the Cordry- Sweetwater Clubhouse to discuss the details and answer any questions prior to bid submission deadline.   All bids must be submitted by 4:00 PM March 31, 2012 with a properly completed Indiana State form 96 Contractor’s Bid for Public Work.  Bid packets will be handed out during the pre-bid meeting and potential contractors are encouraged to attend.   Contractors may request a bid packet by calling John Collins at 317-933-9858, or pick one up at the CSCD office 8377 Cordry Dr., Nineveh, IN  46164.   Contractor will be required to perform all of work in a manner to comply with the “incidental fallback” exception provided in the Environmental Protection Agency rule 40CFR Part 232 and Army Corp of Engineers rule 33CFR Part 323, and the storm water runoff requirements of Indiana Department of Environmental Management rule 330IAC 15-5 (rule 5).
