Request for Bids For Road Construction Materials For 2012

Cordry-Sweetwater Conservancy District, Brown County, Indiana (“CSCD”) is accepting written bids for the following road construction materials: sand, both structural backfill (B-Borrow) and 23 sand, rip-rap and aggregates No’s 2, 8, 12, and 53.  Bids will be submitted on a per ton basis for each material, FOB CSCD maintenance yard or as otherwise directed to a location within the CSCD.  A bid to be considered must provide a bid price for each of the above listed materials.  The bid price shall be guaranteed for 2012 and requested deliveries must be delivered within 48 hours of request.

 A bid must be sealed and addressed to:  Cordry Sweetwater Conservancy District, 8377 Cordry Dr., Nineveh, IN 46164.  The word “bid” must be written in the lower left corner of the sealed bid envelope.  The bids must be received no later than 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012.  Bids will be opened and read aloud during the monthly Road Commission meeting, which starts at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

CSCD reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
