ORDINANCE NO 210111

AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING

 NO PARKING ON THE

NORTH SIDE OF MOUND STREET

Whereas During the busy October and November shopping season the Town Council and Town Administration have observed traffic congestion and impeded traffic flow along Mound Street between Jefferson Street and Johnson Street which presents a safety hazard to vehicles and pedestrians in the area and Whereas There is sufficient public parking provided in the town to accommodate the parking needs of the area.

It is therefore ORDAINED that Chapter 73 of the Town of Nashville Code of Ordinances SCHEDULE I PARKING PROHIBITED be amended to designate that the North side of Mound Street between Jefferson Street and Johnson Street is a NO PARKING zone All other provisions of the Chapter 73 shall remain unchanged.

Town Administration is directed to mark the designated area as required by Chapter 73 with signs and yellow paint curb marking. This Ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication as required by law.
