The Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Yellowwood State Forest is offering a commercial horse trail lease for an existing trail segment in Brown County.  Bids will be accepted until 10 AM, February 20, 2012.  For a complete copy of the contract or questions please contact Jim Allen, Property Manager, at 812-988-7945.  The lease shall only be used for the purpose of commercial trail riding purposes. Payments must be made at a minimum of 33% in January of each year of the contract with a minimum of 33% submitted with the bid. This amount will be applied to the successful bidder's first year's lease. The minimum acceptable bid shall be $3,000.00 for the 3-year term of this lease, or $1,000.00 for each calendar year or part of each year.  The successful bidder will be required to maintain the trail in the existing or better condition as described in lease documentation.
