BROWN COUNTY WATER UTILITY, INC.

LEGAL NOTICE OF FILING FOR A CHANGE IN WATER RATES BY BROWN COUNTY WATER UTILITY, INC.

Notice is hereby given that Brown County Water Utility, Inc. (BCWU), under and pursuant to the Indiana Utilities Regulatory Commission procedures, as amended, intends to file with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission on or about November 18, 2011 for an increase in the schedule of rates and charges for water sold by BCWU in the amount of $0.32 per 1,000 gallons as a wholesale water cost tracker. The changes in the schedule of rates and charges are based solely on the change in the cost of water purchased by BCWU from the City of Indianapolis /D/B/A Citizens Energy Group, CWA Authority, Inc. and shall apply to all class of customers of BCWU for the next practical consumption period following final approval by the Commission in accordance with IC 8-1-2-42.

Objections to the filing can be forwarded to Secretary of the Commission, Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, 101 W. Washington St., Ste. 1550 E, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 and at the Office of Utility Consumer Counselor, 115 W. Washington St., Ste. 1500 S., Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 or at 1-888-441-2494.
