Cam LaLiberte, 69, of Nineveh, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was born January 22, 1952, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, to Camille Joseph Laliberte and Rita (Carpentier) Laliberte. He married Patricia Beauparlant-LaLiberte on March 3, 1984, in Scituate, Rhode Island. She survives him in life.
He was a journeyman and machine repair specialist for General Motors in Oolitic, Indiana, for 50 years. While he loved his job, he also loved his home on the lake where he was an avid fisherman and Angler of the Year.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Beauparlant-LaLiberte of Nineveh, Indiana; sons Jason Laliberte of West Warwick, Rhode Island; John Laliberte and his wife Amy of Rehoboth, Massachusetts; daughters Jessica Marcos of Warwick, Rhode Island; Angela Marinelli and her husband Steve of Raleigh, North Carolina; step-daughters Adele Green of Chicago, Illinois; and Alycia Massingham and her husband Marcus of Raleigh, North Carolina. Grandchildren include Jessica Laliberte and her son Amias Robinson (a grant-grandson), and Michael Laliberte, children of Jason; Caitlin Laliberte and Brooke Laliberte, children of John and Amy; Jordan Marcos and her son (a great-grandson), Jasper Marcos-Foxwell, and Justine Marcos; Cameron Marinelli and Miles Marinelli, children of Angela and Steve; and step-grandchildren Liam Massingham and Owen Massingham, children of Alycia and Marcus. Siblings include Lucille Laliberte of Blackstone, Massachusetts; Paul Laliberte and his wife Eileen of Crown Point, Indiana; Gerard Laliberte and his wife Paula of South Dennis, Massachusetts; Jeannine Bibeault of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; and Marcel Laliberte and his wife Lorraine of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Rene Laliberte and Jean Laliberte.
The Reverend Shan Rutherford conducted a celebration of life service for Cam LaLiberte on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at 2PM Eastern at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, Indiana, and will be live-streamed for family and friends to connect at <a href="http://www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/Cam-Laliberte" target="_blank">www.swartzmortuary.com/obituary/Cam-Laliberte</a>.
