Marsha M. Lettelleir, 65, of Bloomington passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at her home.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1955 in Bloomington, Indiana the daughter of John Leslie and Wanda Roumelle (Dayhuff) Summers. Marsha was a 1973 graduate of Bloomington South High School and also was a graduate of Indiana University where she received her master’s degree in education. She was an elementary teacher for Helmsburg Elementary School in Nashville, Indiana for over 20 years. Marsha married Gary Lettelleir on March 16, 1991.
Marsha was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bloomington. She was a caregiver, caring for her school kids, her mother and her grandkids. She enjoyed shopping online and baking. She was known for her famous sugar cookies and party mix. She loved her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a lovely lady with a big heart and will be greatly missed.
Marsha is survived by her husband, Gary Lettelleir of Bloomington; her children, Kelly (Peyton) Adams of Franklin; Kevin Lettelleir of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Mason and Ella Adams; and her mother, Wanda Summers of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Leslie Summers; one sister, Brenda Summers; and one brother, Randy Summers.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
