Noah Ethan Matlock, 26, of Bloomington, passed away on Sept. 8, 2020, at his home.
Noah was born May 2, 1994 in Bloomington, the son of Mike Mullis and Julie Matlock.
Noah is survived by his parents; his siblings Sarah (James Hambley) Matlock of Indianapolis, Calib Matlock and Hannah Matlock, both of Brown County; as well as grandparents Dolly and Keith Matlock of Brown County.
Noah graduated from Brown County High School in 2012. He then attended Indiana University, graduating in 2019 with a bachelors of science degree in computer science specializing in intelligent systems. Noah was an avid PC and console video game player. He also enjoyed reading, singing, acting, writing and enjoyed hosting taco night. Noah especially loved spending time with his family, his dogs and consuming energy drinks. He was a beloved friend and co-worker who was passionate about social issues.
A celebration of Noah’s life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, at the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. A live stream of the service will be available on the funeral home website. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be at Reeves Cemetery in Brown County. Due to the global pandemic, face masks are required to attend services, and social distancing is to be observed.
