Martha Sue McClintock Taber 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 at the Richland-Bean Blossom Health Care Center in Ellettsville, Indiana. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana October 8, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Thomas Foster McClintock and Nelle Lucille Godsey McClintock.
Martha was a graduate of Bloomington High School and was a trained hairdresser. She ran her own hair salon for many years. She was married to Everett Eugene Taber from Nov. 14, 1948 until his death in 2011.
She is survived by her three children, Melody Voland of Nashville, Indiana; Kevin Taber (Sherry) of Chandler, Indiana; and Tim Taber (Rebecca) of Sebring, Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by her twin sister Mary Roubadeaux, her brother-in-law Lavelle Roubadeaux, and her son-in-law Bill Voland.
Martha will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Covenanter Cemetery in Bloomington. There will be no visitation or service. Martha’s family would like to offer sincere thanks to the staff of Richland-Bean-Blossom Health Care Center, as well as Heart-To-Heart Hospice, for the exceptional care she received.
