To the editor:

A huge thank-you to everyone who attended the Tim Grimm’s Family Band concert on Friday evening (March 8) in support of Polly’s Dog Park. We are so very grateful to Tim and his family, and for the outpouring of community support, and thank you very much for your support, and for the donations collected during intermission. We raised $616.28, and are so very thankful.

A great big shout-out to the Brown County Playhouse for their stellar assistance in helping with the concert, in selling tickets, in supporting Polly’s Dog Park, and most of all, thank you to the volunteers; we so appreciate your help! We also wanted to say thank you to Suzannah Zody, who started the process for us, and to Debbie Dunbar who helped tremendously. Thank you!

Another great big thank-you to Tess Kean of Two Great Minds. Without Tess, this would not have happened. Thank you, Tess!

We are also so thankful for all the support we have received to date: Bob Vernon and Cindy David; Marcia Likens for her belief in our park and her donation from the Howard Hughes Trust; to the Brown County Community Foundation for their awesome assistance in giving us a grant, and for the second grant from the Lilly Foundation; to the Werling Foundation; to Ruth Reichmann; and most of all to Jenny Johnson who has gone above and beyond in helping.

If you missed the concert and would like to donate, we are now online with Paypal, and also have a fund at the Brown County Community Foundation.

Thank you, everyone!

Wanda Jones, president, Jefferson Street Park Association
