To the editor:

Several weeks ago I had a major heart health issue that resulted in open heart quadruple bypass surgery at Columbus Regional Hospital. I spent 11 days in intensive care there in the first half of August.

The outpouring of cards, texts, e-mails and visitors was staggering and extremely touching. The individuals are too numerous to mention and I just want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. It was extremely encouraging to know just how much support I have in this community.

The words “thank you” are not really enough and I will never forget it.
