Letter: A vote against allowing electronic signage

0

To the editor:

I am very much against changing longtime restrictions prohibiting electronic signage in Brown County. Marketing can reach millions over the Internet and through smartphones. Think about why Brown County looks appealing to nature lovers and visitors. It’s because people like Andy Rogers have protected the county from blatant commercialization, including a ban on highway billboards. Let’s not allow light pollution to erode what makes our county attractive to both residents and visitors.
