ST. LOUIS — One suspect is hospitalized with undisclosed injuries after an officer-involved shooting in St. Louis.
The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon in St. Louis city, but the four officers who shot at him are all from St. Louis County. None of the officers were hurt. Police say the suspect is alive and in surgery.
Police say members of an FBI task force and the four county officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant when the suspect pointed a gun at police. All four county officers opened fire. It is unclear how many times the suspect was struck.
St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar says the warrant was related to the distribution of the opioid fentanyl.
