BURBANK, Calif. — Three people have been found dead inside a parked car with Tennessee license plates in an industrial area a few miles outside of Los Angeles.

Burbank police Sgt. Derek Green says a parking enforcement officer found the car around 7 a.m. Tuesday and called for help after peering inside and seeing a body.

Paramedics found three people in the car.

It’s not immediately clear how they died but Green says the case is being handled as a homicide investigation.

The identities of the dead haven’t been released and Green says it’s not yet clear if any of them were related.
