A stop for an improper headlight on Salt Creek Road resulted in a Brown County man being arrested March 31.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht stopped Colten D. Kelp, 23, of State Road 46 East, around 9:30 p.m., according to a probable cause affidavit.

Eggebrecht reported smelling alcohol on Kelp, seeing alcohol containers in his vehicle and that his eyes were bloodshot, his report said. A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.12, above the legal limit of 0.08.

Kelp was charged with two alcohol-related misdemeanors on April 2.
