The third nor’easter in two weeks in northern New England was a doozy with snow tallies approaching 30 inches in Maine and New Hampshire.

The National Weather Service says Deerfield received nearly 29 inches and Middleton received 28 inches in New Hampshire. In Maine, Acton recorded 26 inches of snow, and Sanford and Limington recorded 24 inches. In Vermont, East Barre recorded 26 inches and Willamstown had 24.

Light snow is still falling across the region, and will begin tapering off through the evening.

The storm didn’t cause massive power outages, but utilities are still mopping up. Central Maine Power reported more than 4,000 homes and businesses in the dark.
