A Brown County man sentenced to serve 11 days in the Brown County jail on weekends for a misdemeanor now faces a felony, after he failed to report back to the jail after serving one weekend.

Shawn A. Wagers, 33, of Ford Ridge Road, pleaded guilty to driving while suspended on Oct. 23 and was sentenced to serve 15 days in the jail on weekends, according to a probable cause affidavit by investigator Steve Brahaum.

Brown County Jail Commander Tony Sciscoe reported that Wagers served time the weekend of Nov. 17, but had not reported back to the jail since.

He was charged with failure to return to lawful detention, a Level 6 felony, on Feb. 23.
