A Columbus man was stopped on Feb. 18 on suspicion of drunken driving.

Indiana State Police Trooper Matthew Hatchett stopped Timothy C. Duckworth, 21, after midnight on State Road 46 East near Hawthorne Drive.

A breath test showed his blood-alcohol content to be 0.10. Hatchett reported that Duckworth smelled of alcohol, that his speech was slurred, his eyes were red/watery and his balance was poor, the police report said.

He was charged Feb. 23 with three alcohol-related misdemeanors.
