Virginia L. (Vaught) Albright, 86, passed away Monday afternoon, March 5, 2018 at her home in Nashville.

The Rev. Danny Law will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery, Brown County.

Virginia was born June 13, 1931, in Indianapolis, to the late Clyde B. and Emma Rose (Little) Vaught. Virginia was a 1948 graduate of Helmsburg High School. She went on to marry Ray E. Albright on Aug. 19, 1950 in Indianapolis. Virginia was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of Sprunica Baptist Church in Brown County and enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, mushroom hunting, watching television and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Virginia will be remembered for spoiling family and friends with her homemade cherry cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Ray; daughter, Rose (Mike) Ratzburg of Nashville; grandchildren, Mike Ratzburg and Katie (Chris) Thompson, both of Nashville; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Morgan Thompson; siblings, Harold (Garnetta) Vaught and Carl Vaught, both of Brown County and Donald (Edna) Vaught of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Mildred Hutchison, Lillian Hutchison, Clyde Vaught Jr., John Vaught, Melvin Vaught, Ada Sanders, Carolyn “Janie” Johnson and Roscoe Vaught.
