Steve Shoop, 74, of Brown County, Indiana, passed away Monday, Feb. 26, 2018.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North in Nashville.

Steve was born Sept. 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Clarence and Elladeane Shoop.
He retired from Hoosier Tool & Die in Columbus, Indiana. Steve was a member of the Monroe County R/C Airplane Flyers. He was an avid ham radio operator. He enjoyed checking out what was new with airplanes and ham radio on the internet, camping, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Cynthia “Miss Cindy” Shoop of Nashville; his daughter, Stephanie Shoop of Blue Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jeramey, Kortney, Riley and Brayden Shoop, all of Blue Springs; two great-grandsons, Jordan and Julian Shoop of Blue Springs; his Brown County “adopted” family, Sharon and Larry Kesler, Chris and Doug Stoll, Larry James, Tammy and Leeland Kesler, and Rex, Hannah, Adley and Arleen Voils; special neighbors and friends, Cindy Hyatt and Casey Paschell; his two beloved dogs, Dakota and Tacoma; and many other beloved family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brown County Humane Society, P.O. Box 746, Nashville, IN  47448.
