A Brown County woman hit and bit her boyfriend while he was trying to break up with her, a police report says.

Nichole Jozsa, 22, of State Road 45, was charged Feb. 12 with battery, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors.

Police were called to her boyfriend’s house on State Road 135 North on Feb. 3 for a domestic disturbance. Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Colton Magner wrote that the boyfriend had a bite mark on the inside of his forearm, and he said Jozsa had bitten him during an argument while they were separating.

He also reported Jozsa hit him several times and broke a window on the front of the house.

A witness told police that Jozsa was acting “erratic and irrational” and was aggressive toward other people at the home as well, including her mother.

Jozsa said she and her boyfriend had been at a sports bar for live music and that she had had five or six drinks. She told police she didn’t know what the argument was about and she didn’t remember breaking the window.

She was evaluated by EMS for a cut from breaking the window, the report said. Her blood-alcohol level measured 0.121 at the time of her arrest, the report said.
