Mary Jo (Waggener) Limp, 77, passed away at her home in Nashville Thursday morning, Feb. 15, 2018, with her loving children beside her.

The Rev. Burt Brock was to conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m.  Monday, Feb. 19 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown.

Friends were to call from 4 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

A family graveside service was to be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mary Jo was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late James A. and Norma (Mogle) Waggener. She attended Franklin High School and IUPUI.
Mary Jo was a talented and well-known artist in the Brown County area for the past 30 years, opening her own studio, Mary Jo Limp Studio Gallery, in the early 90s.
She was a member of Parkview Nazarene Church, Brown County Art Guild, Brown County Art Foundation, Brown County Art Alliance and a past member of the Brown County Chamber of Commerce. Mary Jo was also involved in the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association and the Hoosier Salon. She was a past vice president and membership chairperson for Indiana Heritage Arts and a member of Tri Kappa Sorority and the Water Color Society of Indiana. She will be remembered most for her love of family and passion for the Indiana Bluebird Society.

Mary Jo will be missed by her children, Rick J. Limp of Nashville, Vicki L. (Russell Berg) Porter of Bargersville; grandchildren, Heather Limp, Angela (Ryan) Burnside and Keith Frazier; great-grandchildren, Austin, and Kylee Burnside; and sisters, Ruth Hall of Trafalgar and Jane Smith of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Sam Johnson and Sally Winkler.
