BELMONT — An Ohio man is facing drunken-driving charges in Brown County related to a crash in August.

Officers were called to a crash on State Road 46 West near Knight’s Trash Service at about 1:25 a.m. Aug. 1. Douglas Olson, 53, of Akron, admitted to being the driver, according to a report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht.

He wrote that Olson smelled of alcohol and his eyes were glossy. A chemical test showed his blood-alcohol concentration at 0.104, over the legal limit of 0.08, an hour after the crash, the report said.

Olson was charged Jan. 22 with three alcohol-related misdemeanors.
