SAHUARITA, Ariz. — The Latest on a fatal wreck on Interstate 19 (all times local):
The Arizona Department of Transportation says there’s no estimated time for reopening northbound Interstate 19 because of a closure due to a fatal wreck and that drivers should consider delaying travel or using an alternate route.
AODT says northbound I-17 is closed at Green Valley, which is about 25 miles (40 kilometers) south of Tucson.
The state Department of Public Safety says two people were involved in the wreck, and ADOT says it involved a collision of a big and a recreational vehicle.
Authorities say two people were killed in a collision on Interstate 19 between Tucson and Green Valley in southern Arizona.
The state Department of Public Safety says the wreck occurred Wednesday morning at Pima Mine Road which is near Sahuarita.
No additional information was released.
