GNAW BONE — A Columbus woman was taken to the hospital Jan. 18 after a two-vehicle crash on State Road 46 East.

It happened just after 5 p.m. at 46 and Brown Hill Road.

Teresa Wright, 55, of Columbus told police that a vehicle stopped in front of her to make a left turn, causing her to slow quickly.

A Jeep, driven by 21-year-old Mallory Baker of Jackson Branch Ridge Road, struck the back of Wright’s minivan, the report said.

Wright complained of back and neck pain and was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital by ambulance. The van was towed; the Jeep was not.
