RIO RANCHO, N.M. — Rio Rancho police say they’ve made an arrest in a fatal shooting at a park.

Police had said they were looking for two people of interest driving a beige Dodge minivan in connection with the shooting Friday night at Rio Vista Park.

No additional details have been released concerning the victim, the person in custody or a possible motive.

However, police have said the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident and that there was “no apparent threat to the public.”
