In the 8 a.m. hour, Brown County Democrat staff observed the following:

State Road 46 West to Nashville: Frozen-slushy, pavement visible

State Road 46 East to 46/135 South split: Mostly clear

State Road 135 North to Orchard Hill Road: Frozen-slushy, about half the pavement visible

State Road 135 South to Camp Roberts: Frozen-slushy

Brown County is under an ORANGE level “watch” travel advisory. This means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. Only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.
