2018 County Commissioner Board Appointments
The Brown County Commissioners will be receiving letters for the following board positions whose terms expire at the end of 2017.
- Alcoholic Beverage Board – 1 Year Term (One Position)
- Area Plan Commission – 4 Year Term (Two Positions)
- Board of Zoning Appeals – 4 Year Term (Must be appointed from membership of APC Board)
- Brown County Fire District -None
- Brown County Regional Sewer District- None
- Brown County Redevelopment – 1 year Term – Three Positions
- Board of Health – Three Positions (Must be physician or other qualified occupation – see health department for qualifications)
- Tourism Commission – 1 Year Term (two Positions) Must represent lodging or business interests.
- Gnaw Bone Regional Sewer – 4 year Term
- Hamblen Township Fire District – 4 Year Term
- Helmsburg Regional Sewer – 4 Year Term
- Library Board – 4 Year Term
- P.T.A.B.O.A (Property Tax Appeals) – 1 Year Term for 2 (See Assessor for qualifications)
