Brown County’s tiniest runners started off the Hilly Half weekend on Nov. 9 as they ran around the Brown County High School track during the second annual Kids Fun Run.
The free event was presented by the Nashville McDonald’s and the Brown County YMCA.
Ronald McDonald was there to lead kids in warm ups and to start the races.
Students from preschool to sixth grade were invited to run.
Each child received a sticker and a medal after they finished their laps. There was also a bouncy house set up courtesy of Seward’s Party Rentals.
On Saturday, more runners of all ages set off into the hills of the Brown County State Park during the Hilly Half marathon, sponsored by Big Woods/Quaff ON!.
