FOR REZONING
BROWN COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that Mary and Jim Barnaby have filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for Rezoning of property, to wit:
Legal description of premises:
Part of the El/2 of the SEl/4 of Section 13,T10N, R3E Hamblen Township, Brown County, Indiana described as follows: Commencing at a rebar found in place of a broken stone marking the NW corner of the El/2 of the SEl/4 of said Section 13; thenceS01-06-04 W (bearing from Silnes R L.S. #0304) on and along the West line of said El/2 SEl/4 976.19 feet to a capped rebar set and the point of beginning; thence N85-39-53E 1180.09 feet to an iron pin set in the apparent center of Sweetwater Trail County Road; thence the following Three (3) courses are with the apparent center of said County Road; S26-47-22E 224.05 feet to an iron pin found, S20-29-41E 90.00 feet to iron pin found and S05-51-34E 57.89 feet to an iron pin found; thence S81-54-49E 6.16feet to an iron pin found in the East line of said El/2 SEl/4; thence S00-54-19W on and along said East line 428.06 feet to a capped rebar found marking the most Northeasterly corner of a 5.004 acre tract deeded from Kimberly Giles to Brad and Mattie Nordholt and recorded in DR173 pages 448-449 in the Office of the Recorder of Brown County, Indiana; thence the following Three (3) courses are with the Northerly line of said Nordholt tract: S89-24-05W 580.00 feet to a capped rebar found, N01-06-04E 114.00 feet to a capped rebar found and S89-24-02W 747.89 feet to a capped rebar found in the West line of said El/2 SEl/4; thence N01-06-04E on and along said West line 581.57 feet to the beginning, containing 20.00 acres more or less.
Applicant is requesting approval for rezoning the described property from Secondary Residential (R2) to Accommodation Business (AB.) The property is located at 7320 Sweetwater Trail in Hamblen Township.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
The Commission will hold a public hearing on November 28, 2017 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
