BROWN COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that on behalf of the Brown County Humane Society, Sue Ann Werling has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for Rezoning of property, to wit:
Legal description of premises:
A part of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter and a part of the northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 28, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, described as follows: Beginning on the West right of way of State Road No. 135, 49.23 feet West and 303.17 feet North of the Southeast corner of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 28, Township 9 North, Range 3 East; thence South 00 degrees 02 minutes East 501.7 feet along said right of way; thence South 09 degrees 06 minutes East 71.8 feet; thence West 543.2 feet to the center, of David Branch; thence Northerly with the center of David Branch, 559.50 feet; thence North 87 degrees 38 minutes East 475.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 6.7 acres, more or less.
Applicant is requesting approval for rezoning the described property from Primary Residential (R1) to General Business (GB.) The property is located at 128 State Road 135 South in Washington Township.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
The Commission will hold a public hearing on November 28, 2017 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
