MACON, Ga. — Authorities say a Georgia man was shot while parked at a McDonald’s.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office told news outlets that 45-year-old Kelly Milner was shot in the shoulder late Sunday at a west Macon McDonald’s.

A news release from the sheriff’s office says Milner was sitting in his vehicle when a man and woman got into the car. Authorities say the man demanded money from Milner, who was shot when he attempted to flee.

Milner was taken to a hospital in stable condition. Further details have not been released.
