Helmsburg High School graduate, Richard “Dick” Dean Abel, 82, Indianapolis, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Harrison Terrace Nursing Home.

Visitation: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at Neal & Summers Funeral Center, 110 E. Poston Road, Martinsville.

Funeral Mass: at noon following visitation, at St. Martin’s of Tours Catholic Church, 1709 E. Harrison St., Martinsville.
