LEVITTOWN, Pa. — A would-be robber who was shot by a customer in a botched pizza shop holdup in Pennsylvania has been sentenced to prison.
WPVI-TV reports Justin Rose was sentenced on Tuesday to 57 months to 10 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Rose and his brother, 24-year-old Shawn Rose, were armed with pellet guns when they demanded cash at Porfirio’s Pizza and Pasta in Levittown on Nov. 15.
A customer pulled out his own firearm and shot and killed Shawn Rose and severely injured Justin Rose.
The customer did not face any charges.
A woman who prosecutors say went to scope out the restaurant before the robbery pleaded guilty to conspiracy and robbery in April.
