NEW YORK — Defy Media, a digital media firm, has fired the creator of its popular “Honest Trailers” online series, citing “egregious and intolerable behavior.”

Several women have posted on social media that Andy Signore sexually harassed them or tried to assault them.

The company says it fired Signore on Sunday after an investigation that began in August.

Signore did not respond Tuesday to attempts to reach him via social media.

Signore’s firing comes as Hollywood digests the takedown of Harvey Weinstein, fired Sunday after a New York Times report detailed sexual-harassment accusations against the big-time producer that spanned decades.
