GNAW BONE — Police arrested a Nashville woman on Sept. 16 after she was found walking along East State Road 46 wearing two bras and nothing else.

At around 6:15 p.m., Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Colton Magner found Kayla Dilk, 23, near a picnic area at a church in the 5100 block of East State Road 46. Police had received reports about a naked woman walking on the road, a probable cause affidavit states.

Dilk told Magner she had gone to the gas station in Gnaw Bone to get a drink and was walking back home to Mt. Liberty Road. She was wearing a bra with a sports bra on top of it with no other clothing, Magner reported.

She said someone had given her a ride to the gas station, but that nothing criminal happened to her that would cause her pants to come off. She said she took her pants off because she “didn’t feel like wearing them anymore.” Magner also noted that she did not have shoes on.

Dilk was booked into the Brown County jail after jail staff brought out pants and a shirt for her.

Sgt. Scott Bowling reported finding Dilk’s pants and flip-flops on the side of State Road 46 East.

Dilk was charged Sept. 18 with public nudity, a Class C misdemeanor.
