Runaway teens found safe

Two teenage boys who left school Monday morning were found in good health Wednesday, said Nashville Chief of Police Ben Seastrom.

The two young teenagers left Brown County High School Monday and were gone for two nights, Seastrom said. He couldn’t share information about where they had been during that time because he hadn’t interviewed them.

Family members and friends had been asking people to share information about their whereabouts through social media.

The boys turned themselves in to the Brown County Probation Office, Seastrom said.

No Amber Alert was issued because the boys were not believed to be in any danger, Seastrom said. “They just skipped school and didn’t go home.”
