FT. MYERS, FLORIDA
Ruth Ann Harden, 71, of Ft. Myers, Florida, died Aug. 27, 2017, in Ft. Myers, of lymphoma.
She was born Nov. 19, 1945, in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Louise Phillips and Eugene Stogsdill.
Ruth was a member of the Pentecostal church. She loved life, laughing and her family. She was an avid gardener who could grow anything! She enjoyed her job at a fruit market in Ft. Myers.
Survivors include two children, Tony (Christina) Harden and Tana (Tony) Collins, both of Nashville; five granddaughters, Christony (Brian) Parrish and Whitney (Willy) Burris, both of Nashville, Ashley (Nick) Harden of Franklin, Amber (Jay) Pedro of North Carolina and Jesika Harden of Bloomington; and four grandsons, Jeffery (Alexis) Lambe, Trenton Harden and Tyler Harden, all of Martinsville, and Kole (Courtney) Kleve of Connersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Troy Harden; and a brother, Robert “Buck” Stogsdill.
Ruth was cremated. A celebration of life will be set at a future date.
