A Bloomington man was injured in a crash Aug. 15 after his vehicle rolled over in a ravine, trapping him inside.

Police and emergency personnel responded to State Road 46 West near the Brown County State Park west gate entrance around 8:30 a.m. According to an accident report by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Austin Schonfeld, Tyler M. Gott, 31, was westbound on State Road 46 West when he went across the center line and continued off the south side of the road.

Gott’s vehicle then rolled into a ravine and he was trapped inside, upside down.

Gott was pulled from the vehicle and was taken to Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital for a leg injury. His vehicle was towed from the scene. It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt, the police report said.

The report said Gott also was driving while suspended, and police could not find current insurance.
