A stop for speeding on April 2 resulted in a drug paraphernalia arrest.

Jaden P. Roberts, 18, of Columbus, was charged with a Class C misdemeanor for possessing paraphernalia on July 25. He was stopped by Nashville Police Officer Michael Williams for driving 65 mph in 50 mph zone, a probable cause affidavit states.

Williams’ report did not explain what led him to search Roberts for drug paraphernalia; he found a smoking pipe, the report said.
