TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — A shootout at a downtown parking deck last month has left authorities in Alabama still searching for several suspects involved.

The Tuscaloosa News reported on Thursday that according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, more than 100 shots were fired on the top floor of a parking deck in Tuscaloosa on July 23.

Capt. Kip Hart says investigators learned that two women had agreed to meet on the top floor to fight, and video surveillance shows at least 20 cars arrived on the floor around the time of the fight. Hart says that several fights broke out before the gunfire started. He says that several people began shooting, including at vehicles while leaving.

Police don’t believe anyone was injured by gunfire. Two people have reported gunshot damage to their vehicles.
